Here I will write up a procedure to assembly a Personal Computer (Intel LGA 775 Socket )… (if you buy the parts separately, if I have a mistake please let me know)

1. Please read carefully the manual of the hardware that you buy.

This is the most important part of building a personal computer, because if you did not read it carefully an error can occur which can cause damage to the hardware.

2. Carefully search and mark the symbol in the motherboard then match the symbol with the symbol in the manual books and find the meanings.

also pay attention to the processor’s socket. did it match with your processor?

3. After you finds the meanings of the symbol, you can start with installing the processor to the motherboard. Pay Attention to the position of the processor when u put in into the socket. Look at the triangle mark at the processor and match it with the mark in the socket. After u done it then lock it with the knob.

4. Then install the motherboard in the computer case. Lock all of the holes with a screw.

5. Next, take the thermalpaste, then put it sufficiently in the middle of the processor’s surface. Remember! Just put a little.. u don’t need to put it in all of the surface or justified it. Just put a little in the surface (because if the paste too many or too thick can make your processor and heatsink’s heat transfer didn’t go well)

6. Then, it’s the time to install the heatsink, in a standard heatsink there are 4 screw with an arrow sign for the right direction to open in the 4 corner. Open the screw and then pull it up and then lock it again. Then put the 4 heatsink’s screw at the 4 holes of motherboards together. After the 4 screw is put in the 4 holes perfectly then lock the screw one by one. Then make sure the heatsink is installed correctly and tightly. If not then u must repeat this step again.

7. Install the PSU on the computer case, place it on the top of the case (standard case). Then lock it with screws.

8. Then install all of the other gadgets to the motherboard. Connect the Hardisk with a cable and then put the other side of the cable to the motherboard, do the same with the optical drive , put the VGA to the PCIE Socket (for PCIE) or AGP Socket(for AGP), put the Memory Module to the socket and lock it. and then put the power cable to the Hardisk, Optical Drive, VGA.

9. Connect power cable to motherboard. Look at the mark. Put the same voltage and pin cable to the same socket.

10. Connect the cable for power and reset button and cable for the front LED light on the motherboard. Install it according to the mark in the motherboard and the cable (Power cable with power socket ETC) don’t forget to match the white cable or the cable with triangle or ‘+’ mark with the socket with the ‘+’mark .

This is the procedure to assembly with my own style. LoL.. for the beginner please ask a pro to accompany you for your first time. Don’t Blow Up your computer… ok?
